CompareBuyandsave.COM is a free unbiased UK comparison shopping search service, powered by Kelkoo. Our aim is to provide fast relevant search results in specific areas for products you are looking to buy.

We offer three search options to help you compare prices:

1. A Product Search for online shops and local high street shops. For "Online Shops" enter the name or the brand of the product you are looking to buy. For local high street shops simply select "Local Shops" (this service is powered by AskTheLocal) and enter the name of the product you are looking to buy and your own post code

2. A "click and search" facility (Category Search) where you simply click on a shopping category and drill down until you find relevant shopping price comparisons.

3. A High Street Shopping keypad, which will provides easy and direct online access to many of the High Street Shops you currently know and trust.

When we display product price comparisons for online shops we also provide a "Keyword" search facility. This search facility has direct access to Kelkoo's product database and will help you find other products or models not included in our search results.

For local high street shops, the search results include the distance the local shops are away from the postcode you entered plus there is also a local map to help you find the shop.

If our online shops search engine is unable to find what you are looking for, we also provide the option to compare prices on eBay, Kelkoo and PriceRuner. eBay is the UK's #1 online auction site where you can buy or sell almost anything including new and used items, Kelkoo is the UK shopping search engine and PriceRunner provides an excellent free price comparison service.

To find products at auction on eBay, use our Product Search or Category Search as normal, and then click on the eBay logo within your selected "Shopping Category" - this service will be expanded to cover all our shopping categories.

Following feedback we are currently in the process of increasing the size of the product images displayed on CompareBuyandsave and expanding on the range of products covered.

To get the best results from a Product Search, ensure that your spelling is correct, limit your keywords and ensure that they refer only to the product you are looking for.

Do not use product or model numbers and leave out "apostrophises 's" and words like "the", "a", "cheap", "best", "lowest price" etc. If for example you were looking for cheap flights, just enter "flights" or for Thornton's chocolate, enter "chocolate. If you are looking for a specific product or model and what you are looking is not shown on our product display, simply enter the product or model into the "Keyword" search facility, which is displayed at the top of our product display, to find exactly what you are looking for.

Shop at Specific Shops
We are currently receiving search requests for specific online shops such as B & Q, The Carphone Warehouse, Comet, Currys, Dolland & Aitchison, Marks and Spencer etc. Our search engine is however currently focused on products, not retailers, but to improve your overall shopping experience, there are links to all the main UK retailers at appropriate sections within our site. A link to Carphone Warehouse can for example be found under mobile phones, Comet under Household appliances, B & Q under Home Improvements etc. etc. It is likely of course that the shop you are looking can also be found under High Street Shops.
